This gallery includes shots taken from a radio-controlled remote camera with a wide-angle lens, mounted on the floor looking up towards the basket. It gives a very different and interesting perspective.

These wide-angle shots also clearly illustrate why it is so difficult to get accurate color in sports photographs taken in many gyms. For example, if you look closely at photos 40 and 41, taken just a fraction of a second apart, you can see dramatic differences in the color and intensity of the ceiling lights, the color of the background walls, and the color casts on the players in the foreground. The gym lights rapidly cycle in color and intensity, too fast for the human eye to perceive, but not fast enough to fool a camera using a fast shutter speed.
